StockJoe.com is a blog created on May of 2010,to provide tips and insights in regards to stock investment for the average joe.  The purpose of this site is to provide people who are interested in investing in the stock market but not familiar with it with information so that they will have a better idea what they are getting into.

A bit about Me

I am current a 3rd year student doing my undergrads, pursuing a degree in Finance.  I’ve always been intrigued in the stock market since a very young age and have recently committed my money to invest in stocks.  So I am no means an expert analyst.  I am still learning, and in fact hoping to learn a little thing or two from you guys, my readers as well.  I am first and foremost a student and I see this as a journey and an adventure; in which I invite you to join me.

What StockJoe is and What it’s Not!

StockJoe.com is here to help you learn the basics.  Ensure that you will won’t be clueless when the subject of the stock market comes up.  On top of this we are also here to share my experiences and give you some suggestions.  Keep in mind, my experiences and suggestions are just opinions and do not guarantee anything.

What we are not however is a “teach you how to get rich website”.  If anything StockJoe.com will help you find out what your goals are and how to you can best achieve them with the stock market or not.  We understand that the stock market has risk and may not be right for everyone.  The most important part is understanding the risk and deciding whether if you are comfortable with it.  And if so, how much of it.
